Get ready to laugh, cry (a little), and support an incredible cause at a special Freakier Friday fundraiser screening.

Mark your calendars for Sunday 28 September at 2:30pm at Piccadilly Cinemas, where families can catch an exclusive early screening of Freakier Friday, the much-anticipated sequel to the beloved 2003 classic. With stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan back as Tess and Anna Coleman, this time there’s a twist—with a new generation of body-swapping chaos and heartwarming lessons about blended families and growing up.

Directed by Nisha Ganatra and produced by Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn, and Jamie Lee Curtis herself, Freakier Friday brings back familiar faces from the original film, including Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, and Christina Vidal Mitchell, alongside new stars like Julia Butters, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Sophia Hammons. Expect big laughs, sweet moments, and plenty of family-friendly fun!

But this screening is about more than just popcorn and movies—it’s about making a real difference.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will go directly to Catherine House, South Australia’s only homelessness and recovery service dedicated solely to women. By purchasing tickets, you’re helping provide emergency accommodation and long-term support for women in need—mums, daughters, sisters—right here in our own community.

Catherine House not only helps women get back on their feet, but gives them the tools to build secure, meaningful lives beyond homelessness. Your family’s fun afternoon out could be life-changing for someone else.

So round up the kids, bring the grandparents, and maybe even a friend or two—Freakier Friday is the perfect feel-good film for the whole family, with the added bonus of giving back. To make things even more fun, mum and daughter duos are invited to swap clothes for the day and ‘walk in each other’s shoes’!
