Mr Snotbottom LIVE at Science Alive!

A man in a suit and tie stands beside three colorful stuffed monsters, smiling at the camera.
Hold your noses, Adelaide—Mr Snotbottom is back, and he’s bringing his signature slime, snot, and side-splitting science to Science Alive!, South Australia’s biggest science event for families!

Happening at the Jubilee Pavilion, Adelaide Showground on August 2–3, Science Alive! is a weekend packed with exciting experiments, hands-on activities, live shows, and interactive exhibits designed to make science fun for kids of all ages. But this year, there’s a hilariously gross twist…

Expect zombie boogers, giant nose hairs and lots of ooey, gooey experiments! Known for his laugh-out-loud comedy and wacky science antics, Mr Snotbottom’s show is full of yucky fun and clever experiments that get kids giggling and learning. Expect flying toilet paper, exploding burps, and, of course, the infamous zombie boogers. Whether you love science, slime, or just a good old-fashioned fart joke, his show is not to be missed!

But that’s just the start—once you’ve laughed yourself silly with Mr Snotbottom, there’s still a whole world of wonders to explore at Science Alive! Kids can meet real-life scientists, watch live animal demonstrations, try coding and robotics, walk through giant planetariums, and get hands-on with activities from museums, universities, and tech groups across the state.

Best of all, it’s a fun and educational day out for the whole family—and you might even come away with a new favourite fact about snot!

So, grab your tickets, pack your curiosity (and maybe a tissue), and prepare for an unforgettable weekend of giggles, goo, and great science at Science Alive!
