Young star call-out! Children of all genders and from every background are encouraged to apply for the role of Chip in the Australian tour of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Chip is the sweet, curious child of Mrs. Potts, who has been magically transformed into a teacup by a spell cast on the Castle by the Enchantress.

The casting crew is looking for a pre-teen male-presenting child, aged eight to 10 years old, and between 122cm and 130cm tall. The role requires someone who is physically agile and able to stay in different positions while fitting into specific parts of the set.

The character will also require a strong, confident voice that can reach a D5.

Submissions close COB Friday, 14 February.
