Dive into summer safely

A woman and two children enjoying a sunny day together in a swimming pool, splashing and having fun.
With the warmer weather upon us and as families venture out to beaches, rivers and local swimming pools it is imperative that we instill in our children the skills they need to safely enjoy our Australian summer.

Consistently exposing our children to the water in a controlled environment is fundamental to ensuring our children are safer and more knowledgeable around the water.

Blue Dolphin Swim Centre is a privately owned and operated Learn to Swim facility for children and babies from 8 weeks of age.

Being completely dedicated to our bespoke programming, we are a passionate team, focused solely on teaching children to learn to swim in a child led, fun and enthusiastic atmosphere.

For the Youngest Swimmers – Little Ones Program (8 Weeks – 4 Months)

The Blue Dolphin journey begins with our FREE Little Ones program for swimmers aged 8 weeks – 4 months. This is the first step to introducing both parents and swimmers to aquatic education. We guide you gently through those first lessons and equip you with knowledge and techniques that will set you up for success during your time with us.

Baby Program – Building Confidence in the Water (4 Months – 3 Years)

Following on from the Little Ones program our tiny swimmers continue through to the Baby Program. This is for swimmers aged 4 months through to 3 years. The Baby Program delivers a tailored aquatic experience designed by Blue Dolphin that is child focused, educational and provides a perfect opportunity to have 1:1 bonding time between parents and their swimmers.

Next Steps – Kinder and Learn to Swim Programs (3+ Years)

As your child turns 3, they will progress into one of two programs: Pre-school-based Kinder program and After-school Learn to Swim program.

Kinder Program (Ages 3-5)

The Kinder program is specifically crafted for the learning needs of 3 to 5-year-olds, focusing on developing fundamental swimming skills while engaging their growing minds. Smaller class sizes allow our teachers to explore the program while enabling our swimmers to learn through play.

Learn to Swim Program (Ages 3+)

The Learn to Swim program is accessible to ages 3 and above, prioritising breath control, balance, and comfort in the water. This program helps swimmers progress from water acclimatisation and submersions to confidently swimming their stroke of choice for 1km.

Advanced Training – Elite Force Squads

Once competent across the 4 competitive strokes our swimmers have the opportunity to join our Elite Force Squads. This program is suitable for swimmers hoping to begin their journey into competitive swimming or for swimmers looking to swim for fitness, in a fun and social environment. This is our entire focus here at Blue Dolphin and we welcome you to come and experience the Blue Dolphin Difference.
