It’s feeding time at Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park

Adelaide School Holidays are just around the corner, and it's time to plan some fun activities for the whole family.

Get ready to embark on a wild adventure at Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park!

School Holidays at Adelaide Zoo

At Adelaide Zoo, you can follow the trail and discover what animals love to munch on, from tasty zoo-inspired recipes to homemade dog treats. Catch animal feeds and listen in to free keeper talks daily, and don’t forget to create your own recipe using an ingredient from your adventure for a chance to win a family Giraffe Feed!

For an even more exciting experience, head over to the Free Flight Bird Show at the Central Lawn at 11:30 am daily, where you can see Adelaide Zoo’s feathered residents fly overhead. Or, check out the Wildshow at the Variety Children’s Zoo at 10:45 am daily, where you can experience animal training up close and learn new ways to create a positive environment for your own animals at home.

School Holidays at Monarto Safari Park

Over at Monarto Safari Park, Safari Foods is the perfect opportunity to discover wild facts about different types of animal diets and what animals around the park love to munch on. Catch daily animal feeds and listen in to free keeper talks, as well as another opportunity to win a family Giraffe Feed!

And for the ultimate animal experience, book a behind-the-scenes encounter with some of the amazing animals at Giraffe Safari, Lions at Bedtime, and Meet the Rhinos. With daily keeper talks, you’ll learn fascinating facts about your favourite animals as they get stuck into a tasty treat or enrichment.
