Grug and the Rainbow is back!

After sell-out seasons around the globe, the smash-hit production of Grug and the Rainbow returns to Adelaide for a special school holiday season.

After a stormy night, Grug awakes one morning to find a beautiful rainbow striped across the sky. He tries sneaking up on it and climbing mountains in an attempt to reach it. But it’s no use… it’s always just out of his grasp!

Based on Ted Prior’s beloved picture books, Grug and the Rainbow uses exquisite puppetry to take audiences on an epic search for every colour of the rainbow.

Perfect for the youngest of theatregoers (and Grug fans of all ages), Grug and the Rainbow plays a strictly limited season from 4-16 October at Adelaide Festival Centre.
