Nabula Brdar
On a mission to help her son, Nabula started studying how additive and preservatives can affect our physical and mental health. Surprised at what she learnt and shocked to know that these chemicals are added into foods that you would never suspect, Supermarket Swap was born. Utilising her background in advertising, working for brands like Bazaar & Gourmet Traveller, Nabula started by creating a clear concept and message, to be able to easily educate people about what was hiding in their food. The constant messaging in society is to only eat wholefoods and to make everything from scratch. While this is ideal, it is not the reality is for the majority of people as they are extremely time-poor, whether they have young children or busy careers, they shop at the supermarket. Yet no one seemed to be acknowledging it; let alone telling them the best brands to buy. With thousands of people now making ‘Simple Swaps’, the brand is booming, as it has been a healthy & convenient game-changer.
