The City of Holdfast Bay has announced a new event to debut this October school holidays; a roller skating rink in Moseley Square!

Kids and adults alike can get their Xanadu on, strap on some skates and go for a roll under an open marquee with views of the ocean.

Bring your own skates* if you like, or hire from the venue on the day; the rink will be 460m2 and under cover but open to let the sea breeze drift through. A maximum number of 150 skaters will be admitted per session, so lots of space to physically distance while skating.

With multiple daily session times and roller discos on Friday and Saturday nights over two weekends, this event takes rollerskating nostalgia to the next level for parents and encourages a whole new generation of skaters in our kiddos!

Tickets go on sale this Wednesday 9 September. To purchase at a discounted rate:

If sessions have not sold out, tickets will be available to purchase at the rink in Moseley Square for the following prices.

  • Adult $20
  • Child (2 to 14) $15
  • Family (2 adults and 2 children or 1 Adult and 3 Children) $50
  • Roller disco (per person) $20

*Only rollerskates permitted, no inline skates or rollerblades.
