The Jodi Lee Foundation (JLF) is celebrating its 10th anniversary and Jodi’s favourite time of year with specially designed Christmas gift tags in collaboration with Emma Kate Co.

Designed and printed in South Australia, each gift tag is finished with a touch of gold foil to give an extra Christmas sparkle.

Christmas was Jodi’s favourite time of year. She loved the decorations, shopping for and wrapping presents to stack under the tree and cherished her children’s excitement and families coming together.
Her husband and co-founder of JLF, Nick Lee, describes the special place Christmas had in Jodi’s heart.,
“One of my favourite memories of Christmas was spent at the beach, with the opening of presents followed by a big family lunch. It was hard for Jodi to see her own family throughout the year, so Christmas was the only time we could all get together to reconnect. Jodi really loved this tradition,” Nick continued.
“On Jodi’s last Christmas, she knew time was running out and that she wanted to gift the kids’ something extra special. This was the year we were given Rosie, our Cavoodle. Jodi wanted to create that special memory for the kids and hoped that they would see this as a part of her living on,” Nick said.
The Jodi Lee Foundation
The Jodi Lee Foundation started in 2010 in honour of Jodi Lee, who sadly passed from bowel cancer at 41. Happily married for 12 years with two young children, Jodi and Nick were living in Vietnam in 2008 when she experienced constipation, abdominal pain, and some bloating. Her doctor quickly recognised an obstruction in her bowel and ordered scans before discovering she had cancer and that the tumor had all but blocked her bowel. She was 39 years old.
Australia has one of the highest rates of bowel cancer in the world, and it is the second most common cause of cancer-related death in Australia. If detected early, 99% of bowel cancers can be successfully treated or even prevented and Jodi’s story could have had a very different ending.
