Following record-breaking attendance last year, Mayor Kris Hanna is looking forward to welcoming visitors back for another busy season.
“The Marion Outdoor Pool continues to be a favourite destination for residents and visitors,” Mayor Hanna said. “With a longer season and a variety of activities on offer, we’re expecting another successful year.”
The pool’s standout features include the 50-metre lap pool, ideal for swimmers of all levels, and the recreation pool, perfect for casual swimming and family fun. Other attractions include a speed slide with a 10-metre drop, reaching speeds of up to 31 km/h, and a 70-metre slide with twists, turns, and colourful lighting. The shaded learner and toddler pools and the splash park are also very popular among families with young children.
This season will see the introduction of new programs such as dry land fitness and yoga classes held on the lawn, and sensory sessions designed for children. The pool will also host three movie nights in December, January, and April, providing even more entertainment for the community.
Customers can easily manage memberships for lap swimming, general admission passes, and book birthday parties or classes via the online customer portal.
