Adelaide Festival Centre presents WHODUNNIT, EDDIE WOO? Eddie Woo, Australia’s favourite maths teacher, popular host of ABC ME’s Teenage Boss, and best-selling author is back with a new series for young readers! He's also on his way to Adelaide for the OzAsia Festivals Writing and Ideas program in a world premiere event.

We are excited to announce our fave Maths Teacher and STEM superstar Eddie Woo is coming to Adelaide Festival Centre as a special guest speaker at In Other WordsOzAsia Festival’s Writing and Ideas program.

OzAsia Festival’s writing and ideas program In Other Words is returning in 2022 for another year of conversations between poets, novelists, journalists, playwrights, performers, and creatives from around the world. The program offers over 30 free sessions discussing everything from memoir to politics to pop culture to next-gen climate warriors.

The full program release will be launched tomorrow, but we’ve got the hot scoop on one of the guests we’re most excited about!

Join Eddie Woo at In Other Words

That’s right, you can join Eddie Woo at this FREE event to discover the treasure hunts and cryptic messages in his books Time Out! and Team Trouble!

Eddie Woo has been teaching mathematics at Cherrybrook Technology High School, Sydney for more than ten years. In 2012, Eddie started recording his lessons and uploading them to YouTube – creating ‘Wootube’.

Since then, he has amassed 1.43 million subscribers. In 2018, Eddie was named Australia’s Local Hero of the Year and shortlisted as one of the top ten teachers in the world.
