A Disney Film Festival is Coming to Adelaide!

We’ve got 101 reasons for you to go to the movies this coming month, because the Disney Classics Festival is coming to the big screen! The festival will take place in Adelaide at Event Cinemas from 24 February until 18 March and feature all your Disney favourites including 101 Dalmatians, Bambi, Dumbo and The Lion King. Whether its parent’s reliving their own fond memories or kids viewing for the first time, no matter what generation, everyone can enjoy these beautiful classics.

101 Dalmatians – 24 & 25 February

When a litter of Dalmatian puppies are abducted by the minions of Cruella de Vil, the parents must find them before she uses them for a diabolical fashion statement.

Bambi – 3 & 4 March

Walt Disney’s 1942 animated coming-of-age tale about the adventures of young deer and his forest dwelling pals. Named the third best animated film ever by the American Film Institute in 2008.

Dumbo – 12 March

Walt Disney’s fourth animated film about the adorable, giant-eared baby elephant Dumbo. Mocked by his fellow circus animals, Dumbo is loved only by his caged mother and his one pal, Timothy Q. Mouse. With their help he will unlock his full potential.

The Lion King – 17 & 18 March

Embark on an extraordinary coming-of-age adventure as Simba, a lion cub who cannot wait to be king, searches for his destiny in the great “Circle of Life.” From the stunningly beautiful opening sequence over African vistas, to the hilarious escapades of “Hakuna Matata” with Timon and Pumbaa, to the awe-inspiring moment when Simba takes his rightful place atop Pride Rock.
