We don’t throw around the word iconic lightly, but with today’s launch of the new Kip&Co x May Gibbs collaboration, it seems appropriate, nay… necessary… to not only throw it around, but wave it wildly in the air for everyone to see, because this range is nothing short of legendary and oh-so-deserving of the term.

We’re going to assume that most of us are pretty familiar with May Gibbs (because… well, she’s an Aussie legend) but if not, let’s just say as the creator of Snugglepot & Cuddlepie, May is one seriously inspiring and impressive lady boss. Against all the odds, May found a way to tell a story of conservation and environmentalism, defied expectations and became an unconventional, savvy business woman, and created our first local non-indigenous fairy tales.
The Kip&Co x May Gibbs collection is a salute to Australiana and nostalgia in the very best possible way, and is a true celebration of the incomparable May Gibbs and the utter joy she provided so many of us with when we were growing up.
